Thanks Kelly,
I've got a crew of guys working out back trimming trees including the one I'm having to shoot through to get the Pan-STARRS pictures I've gotten so far.
I told them to "do no harm" to the trees. Just to trim them. So provided they can get the tree trimmed enough I may be able to get better shots.

Patrick, I actually kinda liked this latest Pan-STARRS pic...
And Chuck, I agree completely about the image of the comet near Andromeda. On APOD I was surprised to learn that Pan-STARRS is currently the largest object in our solar system...pretty incredible to try and imagine! I wish someone could get a shot looking back at the solar system so the true scale of it could be appreciated.

Anyone watching Pan-STARRS this evening?
The seeing seems very good this evening but I'm only barely able to see Pan-STARRS in 10x50s.

If I get enough wood I could make another wood telescope. Sent from my iPhone On Apr 3, 2013, at 6:03 PM, Joe Bauman <josephmbauman@yahoo.com> wrote:
