When I lived in Calif, I had a doberman. I never had a problem with people bothering me. Now, I go with friends that have pistols. Smith and Wesson is good insurance. Debbie

Lucky you! My son and his wife live in Tucson. Unfortunately, he's so busy with his graduate student research and teaching he never gets out to do any observing! If I were down there I'd be out during the new moon just about every month -- but I guess there would be a little concern about running into illegal immigrants in the middle of the night.
