OK, This wasn't the best I did last night, but it's the only one (of the two efforts) that I've finished with: NGC2717, which is an odd galaxy in Pegasus with a dusty ring. It's a spiral but so tight that the spiral structure is hard to see. -- Joe http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=4713&g2_imageViewsIndex=1
Oops, that should be NGC -- not as alert right now as I could be, after an all-nighter at the scope. -- Joe ________________________________ From: Joe Bauman <josephmbauman@yahoo.com> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2011 9:34 PM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] NEG2717 OK, This wasn't the best I did last night, but it's the only one (of the two efforts) that I've finished with: NGC2717, which is an odd galaxy in Pegasus with a dusty ring. I'm pulling this one off the gallery because I think I have a better way to process it, which won't leave the center so horribly blown out.
