BTW, if you tell someone from Chicago that you've traveled, "back east" to visit them, they'll look at you like you're crazy. To them, "back east" is New York. They consider themselves solidly in the mid-west. Seth

New subject: Adler Planetarium in Chicago
PS: Deb, I also heartily endorse the Shedd Aquarium and, even more enthusiastically, the Field Museum. The Field isn't only natural history, which would be grand enough, but it has an amazing collection of ancient artifacts, including an ancient Egyptian temple. Also, you might swing by the Oriental Museum on the U. of Chicago campus, though it was a bit run-down and some parts were closed for renovation when I was there last. It has fantastic material from the ancient Middle East. Best wishes, Joe
