Invite a friend, make a date, and stop by after work! Astronomers, physicists, and the general public often have overly- simplified ideas of what stars are, what they are made of, and what they look like. Physics professor Stephan LeBohec will discuss "Stellar Imaging: Back to the Future?" which will highlight his recent work on reviving a star observation technique that may provide totally new images and insights of stars.
