I posted a photo to my album of last night's Moon-Venus conjunction: http://www.utahastronomy.com/Kim/Moon_Venus_1_5_19_07. I would appreciate any tips on how to capture Earthshine without washing out the rest of the photo. Anyone? Kim
That's really beautiful, Kim. Cory and I were admiring the conjunction last night too. The only suggestion I have on the washing out problem is to try a bunch of different exposures -- far as unmanipulated photography goes. Best wishes, Joe
Hi Kim, I have the same problem! The solution Photoshop and layers!! seriously though I have no idea, although I seem to remember reading an article on this awhile ago in S&T, you could try a search on their website for photo tips.
