That's really beautiful, Kim. Cory and I were admiring the conjunction last night too. The only suggestion I have on the washing out problem is to try a bunch of different exposures -- far as unmanipulated photography goes. Best wishes, Joe

The solution Photoshop and layers!! seriously though I have no idea, although I seem to remember reading an article on this awhile ago in S&T, you could try a search on their website for photo tips.
