M. The image was taken at approximately 7:57 a.m. CST (1357 GMT). This image was received by NASA as part of the Columbia accident investigation and is being analyzed.

Super optics are not required to image orbiting vehicles, as demonstrated by Ron Dantowitz and others in recent years; all use commercial, off-the-shelf telescopes.
