What I really don't fathom is how the IAU can admit Ceres, Charon and UB313 to the planetary club, but not Quaoar, Varuna and 2005 FY9. These spheroidal Sun-orbiting worlds are Pluto-sized and have Pluto-like orbits. Why the exclusion? As the King of Siam put it, "Is a puzzlement."
