Re: [Utah-astronomy] New images from Tremonton
WOW!! The quality of your work is amazing. You have an impressive equipment list, too. Would you be willing to offer me some advice on what I should purchase for the 12" Nishimura telescope that we are building a roll-off roof observatory for here on the Northridge High School campus? I have been absent for some time now, but I finally got a chance to do a little imaging and managed to complete three new images. Here are links to the small versions. larger version are available by clicking on the pics. The Iris Nebula http://www.allred-astro.com/subpage47.html The Pleiades http://www.allred-astro.com/subpage49.html M33 - The Pinwheel Galaxy http://www.allred-astro.com/subpage51.html My new home in Tremonton has pretty dark skies and is a really big improvement over Orem! I hope someone enjoys viewing these images. Let me know what you think. Thanks Wayne. I'm not sure that I am qualified to help with your project, but I would be happy to discuss it with you anyway. :) I am in the design phase for my own observatory right now. I am really getting tired of lugging the mount, scope, camera, table, chair, computer, cables, power supply, etc., out each time I want to do a little imaging. I need a roll-off roof observatory myself, and now I have a good dark-sky site to put one on.... I just need a little money. Anyone have any extra that they would like to contribute? :) Please feel free to call me on my cell at 801-358-1868. Cheers, Tyler
