Wolf Creek Pass Site Locations
David, Your'r welcome. Just a couple of other notes. 1) Because of deer and domestic horse use, the skitters and some biting flys are a problem. Light DET is recommended. 2) There's a campfire restriction in effect, particulary at the no-fee sites. Stove's only. 3) Because its a drought year, wildlife is on the move. Although I've never seen a bear or bear track at that site, throwing a can of bear mace into the truck might be an idea. 4) If you drive out after 10pm, deer on the road is a real hazard. Keep the speed down. It's a great place for a quick nearby getaway car camp. - Kurt _______________________________________________ Sent via CSolutions - http://www.csolutions.net

I think if you are going to let a bear get close enough to where "Bear Mace" will work without blowing back in your face, I would go with a Taser!
Yeah, but what's a bear taser? A powerline? -- Joe
