Hello all, I am new to the list, I have owned my "first scope" for almost a year and I am starting to do some homework on making my own telescope and optics. The first thing all of the guides I have found says to do is to check locally for ATM resources and other ATMs. I've found the web pages for a few local astronomy clubs, but have somehow overlooked any references to local ATM associations, if they exist. Does anyone have any advice as to where to start, or know of a good local resource for ATMs in Utah Valley? Thanks! Kris Jones
Kris, No formal ATM organization in Utah County (or in SLC for that matter that I know of), but I suspect there are a few individuals down our way that have various levels of ATM experience; the closest I come personally is putting together my own Telekit a couple of years ago (probably doesn't count for much); there are several people in the Salt Lake area with a great deal of ATM experience (I'll let you respective folks respond) and no doubt others in the Ogden club. What are your specific thoughts about what you would like to do? -Rich --- Kris Jones <krjones@novell.com> wrote:
