A hole in the universe?
I am taking about 44 aluminum poles to the recycling, but before I did I thought I might let the astronomy community know just incase they could be used as legs for a mount or for something else that I cant think of. Thay are brand new hand rail parts but were the wrong size and they have about (2) 1/16' screw holes in each of them. The poles measure 52 1/2 " long and are an approx OD of 1 7/8" ID 1 9/16 so the walls are about 1/8" thick. They want them gone today but I will try to hold off until monday just incase someone is interested. respond back to this email or email me at edliwnad@yahoo.com (The poles are in SLC) Dan --------------------------------- Park yourself in front of a world of choices in alternative vehicles. The Poles have been spoken for. Thanks. I caught that on space.com. I think "hole in space" is a misnomer, though, it's really just a region with very low (observed) mass density. Interesting, though. It demonstrates clearly that mass distribution throughout the universe is far from homogenous. On 8/24/07, Barney B. <aaah@sisna.com> wrote:
