Hi all. I managed to get a decent night of imaging in this week using my new Takahashi Epsilon 160. I decided to try for a pair of interesting objects: M97 and M108. I find this odd pairing to be quite beautiful. These objects are similar in apparent size and brightness, but vary greatly in form and color. M97, a planetary nebula, is only approx. 2600 light years away whereas M108, a spiral galaxy, is 45 million light years distant. I hope you enjoy the image. Here is a link to the small version.. Don't forget to click the small image for a full resolution version. It is worth the wait. http://tinyurl.com/qj4ab I am falling in love with this little scope. It has the better optics than any scope I have used! Cheers, Tyler
Amazing! Keep 'em coming, Tyler. Thanks for sharing these with us, Joe
