Patrick, You can also use Kydex material which is a plastic to make your dew shield. It is what I have on the bottom of my new scope. You can see what Dennis did with his scopes on the bottom mirror box to prevent dew at this link: http://dobstuff.com/dew.htm At the bottom he talks about Kydex and other similar plastics you can get to use on a SCT. Just a suggestion. If you want, your welcome to take a look at how it works on my new scope. I'll probably have the scope over at Mat's ATM session to do some adjustments I need.
