West Nile Virus confirmed at Stansbury
Well, this little news item is surely disturbing: http://www.ksl.com/?sid=46378833&nid=148&title=mosquitos-in-stansbury-park-a... Be sure to liberally apply a 100% DEET solution if you head out to any star parties at SPOC, until the first killing frost of the season. I've tried the Boy Scout trick of rubbing my skin with a dryer sheet, it's fairly effective but not 100%.
I would add, not just your exposed skin, but your entire body. I've got many a bite through full length pants and not just around the ankles. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chuck Hards" <chuck.hards@gmail.com> To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 21, 2018 5:54:07 AM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] West Nile Virus confirmed at Stansbury Well, this little news item is surely disturbing: http://www.ksl.com/?sid=46378833&nid=148&title=mosquitos-in-stansbury-park-a...
