Bill Cowles forwarded a link to this pizza commercial which features a telescope. Apparently they did not have a technical advisor handy when they shot it. Then again, maybe it's a neutrino telescope and they're using it in the northing hemisphere to spot Sigma Octans (or is that Sigma Octantis?)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWmhk6PbUDM patrick :)
I saw that commercial last week and immediately began chuckling. I had to explain it to my wife. And what's with the bright lantern? Lastly, everyone knows you go to Denny's after observing, not a take-out pizza joint. ;-) (At least since Naugles went out of business decades ago. We used to hit their drive-up after every Little Mountain session, back in the "good old days". Macho Combo burrito, drool.... A fringe benefit was watching the drunk girls stumbling out of the Bongo lounge, across the street on Highland Drive. Oh, the memories....)
