It does appear that we witnessed an event associated with the coronal hole. See the report at http://spaceweather.com/ We saw a bright patch appear and disappear in the middle of a dark spot, next to a white semi-circular patch. It did this several times during the hour we watched. Observing in fairly good seeing conditions with the PST. Shoshana, it was my pleasure to observe the sun today with you and Mark!
