Number of years ago our son was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base at Fairbanks Alaska. He was an instructor at "the cool school", teaching arctic survival. There is a B 29 called the Lady of the Lake a few miles short of the runway at Eielson. She lies in a shallow lake half submerged and half exposed. Now much more water about her.
