My brother and his wife drove me to Cedar City in their Prius( which got 56 mpg for the trip). If didn't have a Sunspotter we wouldn't have had room for a bigger scope because my wheelchair takes up so much room. THANK YOU Chuck! We were headed for the landing strip where Brent was but the grade school just south of there looked so good with clear western horizon and some shay spots we could sit in while waiting for the eclipse to begin we stopped there. About 50 cars were there at 4:00pm and about 20 scopes were already set up. Another 50 cars showed up by start time with at least 10 more scopes. 200 to 250 people were there. Somebody was doing an eclipse activity for about 50 kids across the street. I met a couple withe 8" sct from the San Diego club. At the ring stage everybody was cheering and shouting. After the ring phase a lot of people started disappearing. I started yelling "Encore! Encore!, Author, Author". I saw Bailey's Beads for the first time in my life. The whole experience was Glorious!!
