I'd recommend TeleVue scopes for a small scope. The optics are the best and the customer service is great too, unlike Meade's customer service. I'd either go for the TV-85 or the TV-76. They are also airline portable too. There are good deals to be found on Astromart. Debbie

I know a couple of people who have bought that scope from Costco. its a Celestron nexstar 60GT the scope is not all that bad for the price. I really didn't like the motorized "goto" part but the scope it self wasn't all that bad.
