Time-lapse of VLT in Chile
Maybe some of you have seen this, but I thought it was beautiful. I was as fascinated by the telescopes as I was watching the sky. http://www.popsci.com/technology/article/2011-05/time-lapse-video-very-large... -A
Thank you, Ann, I hadn't seen it before it is beautiful. It reminds us of the great loss we've all had due to light pollution, and of the grandeur of our surroundings in space. I suppose the two substantial galaxy-like objects floating through some of the views are the Small and Large Magellanic Clouds. Best wishes, Joe ________________________________ From: Ann House <ann@annhouse.org> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Sunday, May 29, 2011 8:43 PM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Time-lapse of VLT in Chile Maybe some of you have seen this, but I thought it was beautiful.
