Re: [Utah-astronomy] Discovery of Earthlike Extrasolar Planet
Answer: I have no say over where any story runs or how big they run a national article. I'm just a humble reporter. Thanks, Joe
Today, the Salt Lake Tribune had a front page story on the discovery of an extrasolar planet having possible Earthlike temperature conditions. It is probably a rocky planet, considering its distance from its sun, and its mass. The mass is also possible to sustain life, though the gravity would be stronger than that of Earth. They don't know yet, if the planet has water. I don't know if they have any information about the atmosphere of the planet. Probably not. The Deseret Morning News had a similar article on the back of today's A Section. I wondering why Joe Bauman didn't put in a front page article on this, in the Deseret Morning News?

There does seem to be a lot of misunderstanding among people about what someone sends in vs what actually gets reported. It is true you can send it in but there is no guarantee of what will or will not get printed Bob Bob Moore Commerce CRG - Salt Lake City office 175 East 400 South, Suite 700 Salt Lake City, Utah 84111 Direct: 801-303-5418 Main: 801-322-2000 Fax: 801-322-2040 BMoore@commercecrg.com www.commercecrg.com -----Original Message----- From: utah-astronomy-bounces+bmoore=commercecrg.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:utah-astronomy-bounces+bmoore=commercecrg.com@mailman.xmission.c om] On Behalf Of Joe Bauman Sent: Wednesday, April 25, 2007 9:33 AM To: Utah Astronomy Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Discovery of Earthlike Extrasolar Planet Answer: I have no say over where any story runs or how big they run a national article.
