Misc anecdote: Telrads and theatrical lighting
I was out at General Theatrical Supply today to resupply a couple of sheets of Roscolux colored gel. (The red #27 sheets are used for making a red screen for a laptop and the red #120 and blue #83 for covering regular incandescent and red led flashlights for night vision.) The salesperson offered up that they buy Telrad finders in bulk. They mount Telrads on theaterical spotlights to aid pointing them during performances in a dark theatre. - C __________________________________ Yahoo! Or, to cover your spotlight so you can pull people over. ;) Who did you say you worked for?

Speaking of unintended uses of Telrads, back when I was still with the late, great planetarium we used a Telrad to point an air cannon that we used in our "Newton's Laws" assembly at schools. Worked great and much fun! Patrick
