Just completed my first observational sketch of the year. I hope to do more in the (warmer) months to come. You can view the drawing on my blog here:

When I went back and compared my sketch with a nice photo, I noticed there were some features my eyes hadn't observed correctly...I guess it's easy to understand how there were canals on Mars for a while! Still, it's a fun exercise...and perhaps a good way to improve observing skills.
