Maybe allowing attachments with .jpg extentions would be okay and Cynthia could set it up to block the rest. That way people could still attach photographs and we'd have pretty good protection against viruses. I haven't heard of viruses being sent as .jpg attachments. While we're at it, it should be safe to allow .mpg extensions as well, just in case someone had a legitimate need to attach video to their message. Personally, I'm not too concerned about getting a virus from an email attachment. My email program never opens them automatically, and I only open them if I recognize the extension and the sender.
