Good idea, John. The C6 is a great telescope, a lot of focal length in a short package, and it works well with the Celestron reducer/corrector if you want to shorten up the FL a bit. I also thought about the C6, but did not mention it. We all get aperture fever, so I went w/the C8. One advantage of the C6 is a 8" OTA can be mounted at a later date. That is not true of the smaller nexstars. The C6 & C8 share the same head assembly. 73 On 11/7/2013 12:39 PM, Chuck Hards wrote:
