I am truly sorry I started this thread. I did not mean to attack the idea of having SLAS rent a bus or get into the debate. My only idea was to find if there were members of this email message board who were interested in car pooling regardless of whether they were SLAS members or not. Why? Because I thought it would give some flexibility. IF someone is interested in that please feel free to head over to AstronomyinUtah at http://astronomyinutah.forumer.com/index.php and pick up the subject there. If not, I'll just contact those that I observe with and make the offer personally.
No worries, Jay. Car-pooling is an entirely different idea from the bus. Don't let it cause you any grief at all.
Hi Jay, Sorry to see that you signed off the list and I hope you'll come back. It certainly was not you that started things, rather it was just a continuation of a discussion that started at the end of Thursday's SLAS meeting.
