Re: [Utah-astronomy] Help ID old timers
Am I alone, or does the picture of Erik Edmunds bring back fond memories? Becky and Erik gave me my first sono tube. As part of the SLAS history project we are trying to ID several SLASers in a couple of old photos Bruce Grim found in his files.
I have posted temporary annotated versions at:
http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/temp/baldmtnid.jpg We can't ID #s 1, 3, 4, 12, 13, 14, 19 & 21
http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/temp/spocid.jpg We can't ID #s 2, 6, 12 & 13
Any help appreciated,
patrick

Patrick, I'm pretty sure that's the Garden Center at Sugarhouse Park in the background of your spocid.jpg. Also is #6 possible Larry Anderson? I only met him once when we bought the Cave but he looks familiar. Dave On Nov 13, 2008, at 10:23 AM, zaurak@digis.net wrote:

Patrick, since Chuck is off-list, you should try emailing him directly. He may know some of these folks... /R --- On Thu, 11/13/08, Dave Bennett <dlbennett@mac.com> wrote:

Thanks for the suggestion. As it turns out I had done just that but Chuck did not recognize the mystery people. Cheers, patrick
