Hi all. I pulled all-nighters over the weekend and got two nice images. Here is the first. It is NGC281, the Pacman Nebula. I think this may be one of the best images that I have captured. The extended exposure time is the way to go for these deeper images. I hope you enjoy it. Here is the link to the small version. Humm, good idea, if I can be sure that a couple of photos would reproduce well. Unfortunately, most pics that I have submitted looked much, much worse in the paper than they should have because of the limitations of printing on the kind of paper newspapers use. But that's a great idea and maybe a high-res photo better than any I have taken will look OK. I think reproduction is better lately. Also, we could have a photo of someone making a view. Astrophotography is becoming more popular and the results really are impressive. Thanks, Joe
