If any one is still awake you need to grab your scope and some high power eyepieces and check out the planets. The sky is steady and they are solid as a rock at high power. Now !!!! Ron
Ron, What scope are you using and what type of power? What sort of detail are you seeing? Dave On Saturday, January 4, 2003, at 01:04 AM, karen vanderhule wrote:

It was good while it lasted. Clouds moved in a bit after 2. Regarding planets, I heard from Siegfried tonight that he's *thinking* of *maybe* bringing the Clark out to the Saturn Watch next week. Patrick karen vanderhule wrote:

Patrick, can you tell me more about the Saturn Watch? I'd like to write an advance. And will anyone be shooting Saturn? That could be a cool illustration afterward. Thanks, Joe Joe Bauman science & military reporter Deseret News bau@desnews.com (801) 237-2169

I don't know if anyone will be taking pictures, but Bruce Grim and I will be bringing our video set ups to let people see stuff on video monitors. Patrick
Great, Patrick. I sent in an advance story that should run soon -- let us hope it's before Friday -- and I will tell the editors we should cover the event itself if by nothing else than a photo with caption. It could be a nice pic to get a view of the monitor with people looking at it, maybe a telescope in the background, something like that. thanks, Joe Joe Bauman science & military reporter Deseret News bau@desnews.com (801) 237-2169
Never mind! I found the announcement. Sounds like a great event. -- Joe Joe Bauman science & military reporter Deseret News bau@desnews.com (801) 237-2169
I hope he brings out the Mini Clark as well! Might be quite a bit to set up though aye? On Saturday, January 4, 2003, at 02:54 AM, Patrick Wiggins wrote:
