Off topic to be sure but it's been slow here and I know there are other pilots on the list. There was a piece on the news this evening showing the first ever Airbus A380. Talk about huge! Two decks. 550+ passengers. 560,000 kg gross take off mass. 80 meter wing span. "Aluminum overcast". 'Course, big as it is, the A380's wing span is still about 17 meters shorter than the Hughes H-4. Anybody wanna go fly? Patrick
Yeah, but my plane's out of annual and the mechanic is undergoing some medical procedures. I probably won't be able to fly until early June. Did you notice how much that A380 was pitching and yawing while landing? Normally you don't see that much movement on an airliner, much less on a jumbo size plane. Patrick Wiggins wrote:
