I remember a lot of discussion on this several months ago but no matter which side of the argument you were on I don't think any of us expected this answer.http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2012/02/22/loose-wire-led-to-stunning-faster-...
Oh I expected it. I believe my words were "most likely a calibration error". This qualifies as such an error. The original claim was wrong and is now discredited. But some will never admit it. They are beyond reason. They have their "beliefs" DT ________________________________ From: Steve Fisher <iotacass1@hotmail.com> To: utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Wednesday, February 22, 2012 7:27 PM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Faster than light I remember a lot of discussion on this several months ago but no matter which side of the argument you were on I don't think any of us expected this answer.http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2012/02/22/loose-wire-led-to-stunning-faster-... _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Send messages to the list to Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com The Utah-Astronomy mailing list is not affiliated with any astronomy club. Well Ok, I'll give you credit for being close. I don't really see it as a calibration error but next to my statement it is probably closest. I think I said to Shake it twice, Whack it with a hammer and run the test again.;-)

Gotta give Dan credit on this one, he was the first to call "B.S." on the FTL results, as I recall. On Thu, Feb 23, 2012 at 9:36 AM, daniel turner <outwest112@yahoo.com> wrote:

Still, quantum theory does predict faster than light particles, albeit yet to be demonstrated.
