Thanks for the tips on shooting.  Interesting that you do a picture every 5 seconds.  I've never done time lapse before, so I would have probably done 10 second exposures ever 20 seconds or so depending on how visible the comet is. Joe - I'll probably be out on the west side near  the sandy beach to do the photos.  Its cold enough I don't want to hike out to one of the "peaks".  If you see a gold corolla with me and two girls, come over and say hi.  Maybe they will be impressed.  :)
