Just a quick reminder that a Minuteman III is scheduled for launch from Vandenberg AFB tomorrow morning (Thursday). Although the launch window extends from 02:01 to 08:01 MDT, there is a good chance lift-off will occur at or shortly after 02:01. In case you are wondering, yes, a launch from S. California is visible from N. Utah. One was so easy to see we saw it from the Midvale Harmons. Now, as to the funny, the scientists on the list might get a kick out of this video (it worked best for me in Quick Time). http://www.biocompare.com/video.asp?id=101 Carpe Noctem! Patrick

Boy oh boy, do you need to get out more...

Looks like it's time to pull out all the stops to get you a date. Here goes... Go stand in the produce aisle at Reams say about 6:30 p.m. on any given Tuesday, and act like you don't know what you are doing. Try to refrain from handling the melons. When an eligible old lady walks by, stick out your foot and trip her. Try to position yourself so that you are the first thing she sees when she comes to. If she doesn't recoil in horror or swing at you, she is probably still a little dazed and confused. This is the precise moment you should ask her out. Try to appear compassionate... ;)
