Kim, your Gemini capsule kit reminded me that I had some space kits in storage, besides the WWI. I dug-out my copy of the John Glenn "Everything Is Go" kit- the Mercury capsule & Atlas booster plus complete launch pad! It even has little maintenence trucks. I never built it because of the HUGE number of parts associated with the launch pad. Also found my 1/48 kit of the Apollo spacecraft, the one that comprises the entire top section of the S-IVb, with the LEM shroud and escape tower for the command module. I actually built one of these in the '60's but for some reason have a duplicate copy. One of these days I'd love to have a set of NASA manned spacecraft models decorating my home office. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Well, now, I'm a bit jealous. If you have any antique Mormon pine furniture, maybe we can trade? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chuck Hards" <chuckhards@yahoo.com> To: "Utah-Astro" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Saturday, July 23, 2005 2:44 PM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Old space kits | Kim, your Gemini capsule kit reminded me that I had | some space kits in storage, besides the WWI.
