1:40 am and for the first time this season the reading on my outside thermometer just went from a plus sign to a minus sign. Ugh... winter's on it's way. Maybe I should have bought that house in Kanab. :) pat-r-r-r-r-r-ick
One of the advantages of being able to use both metric and Imperial measurement systems is that all I had to do was flip a switch on my electronic thermometer, and suddenly have another thirty degrees before the minus sign pops back on. ;-) If last winter was any guide, even Kanab wouldn't have spared you from the cold temps. You need to buy a house near Tucson for that! On Tue, Nov 4, 2014 at 1:49 AM, Wiggins Patrick <paw@getbeehive.net> wrote:

Yep. (You mean there's something else?) :) BTW, just went out to shut the observatory down and there was frost on the scope. Makes me marvel at how folks like Joe do it. Here I only have to go out in the cold to open and close. While Joe spend hours out in the cold. No way I could do that. It wouldn't be that cold if you used Fahrenheit. It would only be plus 32°. On Tue, Nov 4, 2014 at 1:49 AM, Wiggins Patrick <paw@getbeehive.net> wrote:
