OAS is heading for St. George on February 8th and 9th. All astronomers are welcome to come and observe with us. There are a couple of observing sites so make sure and let me know that you are coming. I will be staying at the Knights Inn St. George Airport (just off the freeway on exit 8, near Denny's). I will arrive on the evening of the 7th. Thanks, David Dunn

John, We look forward to meeting you. We currently have two sites that we have been using. One is near Virgin, above a dam. If we hide behind the hill, the dam lights don't bother us. The only issue with this site is that sometimes it is very windy. The other site is South of the new St. George airport. We had enough traffic and shooters out there last year that we might drive up to the petroglyphs. We did that the year before and it was nice. If you have any sites that you like, let us know. We do like to be warmer so we don't want to go up too much in elevation and we like a good southern horizon.
