Thanks for the explanation, we have target signs too!! And as for seeing Omega Centauri (and a whole host of Southern Sky objects) -- can't miss it as it floats above the horizon. There is SOMETHING about seeing the Southern Cross and I don't know if it's from Crosby Stills and Nash or if it just marks the entry to another hemisphere. If anyone is coming this way, just give me at least a weeks notice so I can rearrange things and show you Maui. Aloha Rob
