RE: [Utah-astronomy]Potter Spoilers! >:o(
DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER if you don't want to have anything Harry Potter related spoiled.
Sorry, I know this is totally off topic for this board! But I love these books, and like to discuss theories.
Snape has to be a vampire. In every single book JKR has written something about Snape that compares him to a bat.
<snip> Very compelling evidence. I'll bet it will somehow come into play in book 7.
not. There are many things like this she has hidden throughout the
book
though. I have a lot of theories that I hope she will follow through on.
I do believe that Snape and Dumbledore had an agreement that Snape was to kill Dumbledore though. Yes, I believe Snape was supposed to kill Dumbledore, with Dumbledore's permission. If you want proof, I can give it to you.
I have to disagree with this one. Rowling stated that only conspiracy theorists will still believe that Snape is good. <g>
I also think I know who the author of the letter in the locket Horcrux
is,
the R.A.B. on page 609.
This one has to be Regulus Black, Sirius' younger brother. A question I have - is Harry's scar a horcrux? Lastly, will Orion magically be moved into the summer sky? <g>

I have not heard that statement by JKR. But she did say something about Snape as to make the average reader believe that Snape was not a Vampire, and yet, There is some incontrovertible evidence that he may be. If I wrote books comparable to these books, I would not give away my secrets for anything! Not until book seven was published. Maybe she means by this statement that conspiracy theorists are the only ones capable of discerning the truth through mountains of evidence to the contrary, or something like that... She does give misleading statements all the time. She didn't say, in point of fact, that Snape was not good, she did not say that he was now working totally for the death eaters. He is bad and evil, but he is working for Dumbledore, and he is on the side of the order of the phoenix for whatever reasons he has. I will send you some more evidence off line about this. Yes, it is Regulus Black! I believe there is a reference to a gold locket in book five being found in Grimmauld place, but I haven't been able to find the page yet. I wonder if that's the locket that was in the cave at one point and Regulus took it out. What I also wonder is, would Regulus have let Dumbledore know about the horcrux and that's how Dumbledore knows there is more than one. If Dumbledore was told by Regulus about the horcrux, why did he need to go back for the locket... That is unless the locket wasn't the only horcrux in the cave. Isn't it strange that the potion in the bowl in the cave made Dumbledore act so differently, pg 571? I wonder if the potion wasn't a horcrux, and that maybe that's one reason why Dumbledore retrieved it before Snape killed him! Especially with the instructions he gives Harry on pg 569, when he says this potion must act in a way that will prevent me from taking the horcrux. "It might paralyze me, cause me to forget what I am here for, create so much pain I am distracted, or render me incapable in some other way. This being the case, Harry, it will be your job to make sure I keep drinking, even if you have to tip the potion into my protesting mouth." Why did he have to drink every drop? Couldn't they take the locket without drinking it all? If it was the horcrux, maybe he needed every drop of it. And knowing he was going to go after this horcrux may be the reason why Dumbledore was willing to let his hand be disfigured earlier in the book by another horcrux. He knew he didn't need his hand much longer? After all, just before Dumbledore and Harry leave to go get the horcrux from the cave Dumbledore says Something about the great temptress adventure, I cant find the exact page its on right now though. In book one pg 297, Dumbledore says "to the well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure. It sounds like he knew he was going to die to me. Yes, I wondered if Harry's scar is a horcrux too, but I have less proof of that than other things. But it is a connection to Voldemort, no doubt about that. I do not quite understand your reference to Orion, although some of the Black family seem to be named after stars of related or close constellations to Orion. What am I missing?
