Bradfield from Utah?
I went out this morning (Tuesday) at 4:45 am near SPOC. The sky was starting to lighten (Sun was 16 degrees below the horizon), plus I was looking over the lights of SLC. At that time comet Bradfield should have been about 15 degrees elevation in the NE and about 5 degrees below M-31. M-31 was plainly visible in 7x35 binos but no sign of the comet. Has anyone seen Bradfield from along the Wasatch front? Patrick
Patrick Comet Bradfield was DIM from Haleakala and the only light we had to deal with was the soon to be rising sun. We did have good views thru a 600mm F5 refractor and saw the developing Comet T7. We'll be back up on the 16th for T7 and Q4 and I hope I can get some good photos again. We might go to Hana and shoot the comets w/ palm trees framing them ........... Aloha Rob
