The primary is a new 14 inch Zambuto with a prostar secondary. The 14 came from glass that Carl picked out, and then annealed and went through the process creating a new mirror. The original Orion Stock Chinese mirror from my XX14i is on its way to Carl right now to be used as he sees fit, probably as a blank. The Zambuto primary I have is a new mirror, not a re-worked or re-figured mirror and it is NOT a re-figure of my original mirror or another mirror from a similar scope. Dennis used the spider, mirror cell and secondary holder from the XX14i but everything else is new. The mirror cell was modified for the new design. Tyler, that is wonderful that you ordered a 12.5 Zambuto. I paid for the new 14" I got last September, 2011 and took delivery in early September, 2012. I recall a Tom Petty song that had the chorus "The waiting is the hardest part."
