Re: [Utah-astronomy] New address test -please ignore-
Last AOL test. Setting preferences. Thanks for your patience, folks. Final Score: AOL: 3 Yahoo- 0 Yahoo loses. I will soon remove my Yahoo address from the list serve. It will still be an active email address, however, so you may continue to use it when writing me. It only seems to have problems with the astro list, not individual emails. Funny, your userid makes the Yahoo spam filter think you are randomly generated spam. All of these messages were in my bulk folder. --- cmh856@aol.com wrote:

Now that is strange, because my Yahoo address is still receiving astro list posts- and messages from my aol address are getting to my "astro-list" folder at Yahoo, albeit delayed by one to four days. After a test of several days, I changed my bulk folder to "delete on receipt" since no list postings were being diverted there. Short of different user-specified filter settings, I wonder why two different Yahoo users would get the same message diverted to different folders? Unless I really am randomly-generated spam- you never know! ;o) -----Original Message----- From: retenney@yahoo.com To: utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Mon, 26 Feb 2007 11:23 PM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] New address test -please ignore- Funny, your userid makes the Yahoo spam filter think you are randomly generated spam.
