When I was leaving my house this morning around 6:30am I looked to the east. Just over the south shoulder of Lone Peak was a huge iridescent smoke ring and a zig zag trail meandering off over the horizon. Right in the middle of the smoke ring was Saturn. I thought it was a weather rocket so I only took a moment to gaze at it before heading to work. If I had known it was the remnants of a bolide, I would have gone back and retrieved my camera and taken a picture of it. Dang the luck! Jon
