I remember star gazing with Dwight during Desert Storm. Pretty sure his Army service ended after Vietnam.

I wish I could be there but I'll be at my new home (Tropic/Bryce Canyon

NP) and unable to go. For what it's worth, Dwight was probably closer to many of his SLAS friends than he was to his own family, excepting perhaps Tina. Keep that in mind.

Erik, I wondered about the Iraq service, too. Does anyone know? Did he serve in Desert Storm?

Thanks Kim, Lightning Triggers. They help a lot when it is daytime and a lot of light available to fill the pixel wells, but at night it is not a problem. Shooting lightning at night is probably one of the easiest things to do with a DSLR. It is so dark, you just stick the camera on a tripod and open the shutter for 20 seconds at a time.
