What happened to the dinosaurs?
Try googling the phrase "what happened to the dinosaurs?" You might be surprised (appalled) at wheat comes up first. Ugh! patrick
Did they live on wheat? That is surprising. <g> On Tue, Jun 9, 2015 at 3:01 PM, Wiggins Patrick <paw@digis.net> wrote:

Actually, it's the saddles that drove them to extinction. Horses seemed to manage them better. Of course, we waited awhile for the horses to reach appropriate size. Dave Sent from my iPad

The religious right is using the search engine against itself. Actually pretty clever in a warped sense of humor sort of way. The title of the website is "what really happened to the dinosaurs?" So the Google search engine will find that site first because it is a perfect match. I actually read much of what was on that site. Oh my. I'm still trying to get my head around dragons/dinosaurs going up the ramp of the Ark, two by two. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nancy Matro" <nancy.matro@gmail.com> To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, June 9, 2015 7:32:24 PM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] What happened to the dinosaurs? Isn't that placement in search results paid-for? I'm wondering what the creationists are going to do when ET finally decides it's time to show-up, and let everyone know that they've been watching us for thousands of years, and the Bible isn't a literal truth. They'll probably declare the aliens are demons, and then get us all killed. It's not enough to believe something and be secure in your own beliefs. Everyone else must believe as you do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZegQYgygdw On Tue, Jun 9, 2015 at 3:01 PM, Wiggins Patrick <paw@digis.net> wrote:

I have a little cartoon that perfectly explains the extinction of the dinosaurs. I can't post it because Chuck says it's against the rules. Two dinosaurs are sitting on rocky tops watching the Arc float away. One says to the other, "Damn, was that today?" Yep they MISSED the boat. Perhaps it was the Unicorns that said "Damn was that today?" lol, it was a flood, think all the aquatics would have survived, doubt Noah built aquariums. As to why we don't see them today, the site had an answer- the world changed after the flood and those life forms used to the environment before were not able to survive after. Perhaps it is because "Jurassic World" is opening up today, but it seems to me a very important point has been missed. According to the website some dinosaurs were on the Ark. They are the dragons of various legends in the middle ages and what not and some were on the Ark but didn't survive in the changed world after the flood (fossils). But let's go back to the beginning at least to when the Ark was built. Assuming (we all know what the syllables mean :)) dinosaurs were on the Ark, doesn't that mean that man and dinosaur co-existed? Imagination runs amok with the thought of T-Rex and veloptor (sp) raptor and other carnivores co-existing with man. Imagination could easily turn into a headache. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Erik Hansen" <zaurak@digis.net> To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, June 12, 2015 10:36:34 AM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] What happened to the dinosaurs? Yes but back in those days great sport was made when the Giants (Genesis 6:4 and a bunch of other places in the Hebrew Bible) used to hold rodeos with T-Rex riding contests. On Fri, Jun 12, 2015 at 11:57 AM, Joan Carman <jcarman6@q.com> wrote:

My imagination is definitely running amok with that vision! The giant slowly eases himself down on the back of the trapped T-Rex, his fur wrapped legs pressing gingerly to T's body. He wraps the ends of the multi-vined rope around his three-fingered (with opposable thumb) hand several times. After settling himself firmly, he nods to the gate keeper. As the wooden gate opens into the arena giant's legs press hard into T's side. T rears up with an eardrum shattering bellow and bolts for open space. Then whips its head around to bite the knee cap of the giant on its back. Not so much to get him off, T is hungry. Giant pulls hard on the opposing vines wrapped around T's head and just short of the knee cap T's head is yanked in the opposite direction. Losing his balance T falls forward its short fore-arms, neck and head grinding into the hard packed dirt, throwing the once seated giant forward over T's head. Both struggle to their feet. Now its a race to the 75-foot high adobe brick wall lining the arena. Does T get lunch? Stay tuned folks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joel Stucki" <joel.stucki@gmail.com> To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Cc: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, June 12, 2015 12:50:00 PM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] What happened to the dinosaurs? And then there's Gary Larson's take on the subject (7th cartoon down the page): http://stephhicks68.hubpages.com/hub/Gary-Larson patrick On 10 Jun 2015, at 07:53, Siegfried Jachmann <siegfried@jachmann.org> wrote:

Two dinosaurs are sitting on rocky tops watching the Arc float away. One says to the other, "Damn, was that today?" Yep they MISSED the boat.
