Re: [Utah-astronomy] Re: Green lasers
I was looking forward to it, as were many others I'm sure. Bring it up again after the official regime change.
I have received a message from Siegfried stating that he is not interested in my green laser comparison test as a SLAS meeting presentation. His exact words were:
"I appreciate you thoughts on this subject and your wanting to participate in the meeting. I don't however see the point of the experiment."

Chuck, ditto on Mike's comment. It's just the kind of thing that astronomy clubs should do. - Canopus56 __________________________________ Yahoo! Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.yahoo.com
I have a friend Guido that will be happy to twist Lowell's arms if he dares object! ;o) In other words, I'm looking forward to it as well. --- Canopus56 <canopus56@yahoo.com> wrote:

Chuck, I was actually looking forward to hearing the results of this experiment since I am in the market for a green laser pointer and want to get the biggest bang for my limited buck. Please don't give up on doing this, it's exactly what astronomy clubs should do to help out fellow members. Equipment reviews are essential since many of us won't be able to try before we buy, so all the info we can get about the variety of said equipment is a huge help to making decisions of what to buy or avoid.
