What the hell is a star chart? I dug through my library and listed under the category, “Babylonian software”, I found a star chart. Looked as new as the day I got back the copy (they kept my original chart and gave me back a copy) from the Alexandrian library. Those boys made some fancy Xeroxes. Pity it burned down. Dave
Dave, I have to admit that stone tablets and papyrus scrolls are a total pain at the telescope. No argument at all. It's so hard to get good reeds for scroll stock anymore, especially at this latitude. Plus that dyed red-fabric filter over the torch just doesn't do a damn bit of good. And I'm almost out of lamb's blood for my doorpost. What a pain. But if you give Gutenburg a chance, it's not so bad. Infinitely more useable. I think he's onto something.
