I just saw a patch of blue sky. If you held your thumb out at arms length, that about cover it. I dont think we can count on the star party, but I am optimistic for the swap meet and the bbq. Pork shoulder is about done and ribs went on a bit ago. Dale Sent from Yahoo! Mail on Android
Kelly and I are planning on being there and having supper at SPOC. In fact, Dale, if you have an extra sandwich or two, we may place an order to go for tomorrow's lunch. I found a few more things than I thought I had for the swap meet, including a little item that Rodger Fry in particular might be interested in. Also some nice glass blanks, although what I thought was a 20" is in fact 19.5". I'm prepared to wheel-and-deal to not have to take this stuff home again. We both have to get up early tomorrow so can't stay for the star party even if it clears-up, but it should be a fun time anyway, even if we have to huddle-up under the picnic table awning or inside the observatory. SPOC's Clear Sky Clock is currently surprisingly encouraging for this evening: http://www.cleardarksky.com/c/SPOC2UTkey.html?1 patrick On 14 Sep 2013, at 13:32, Dale Wilson wrote:
