Just wanted to share with the list that right now on the main BBC news site, the most read article is titled "LED lamp aims to improve star views" http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-22292129 Whenever I have talked to non-astronomy locals here in SLC, they usually seem completely oblivious to the light pollution issue. It's interesting and nice to see an article like this at the top of the most read list, even if it is just at the top for right now, I hope many new people are being "turned on" to the concepts of intelligent lighting today.
