Triple play tonight
I just realized we've a triple pass of satellites coming up shortly. ATV rises in the SSW at 9:03 disappearing in the S two minutes later. ISS follows the same track starting at 9:07. Ditto for shuttle starting at 9:08. Maximum altitude above the horizon for each will be abut 30 degrees. patrick
Hi Patrick Ditto here in the Islands but our pass is at 6:30 so it may be tough to work out the ISS against the bright sky. Last night was a cloud out, the night before was great, I even have my wife out w/ me on these fly bys. aloha Rob
Hi Rob, ISS was every bit as bright as Sirius tonight so if you can see Sirius you might have a chance of seeing ISS. Shuttle was a bit fainter and ATV much fainter. It was fun to see them all up there chasing one another across the sky. patrick On 25 Mar 2008, at 20:58, Rob Ratkowski Photography wrote:
